Making a grand entrance into the skateboarding market, Yocaher Longboards quickly rose to become a respected brand in the game. Their first longboard, the Yocaher Speed Drop Down, had a great mix of downtail riding and speed and simply could not be beaten for the price.
The Punked Lowrider Drop down longboard is Yocaher’s attempt to expand into the sliding markets and establish themselves as strongly as they did in downhill longboarding. As can be seen from the picture below, the Punked Lowrider is aptly named.
With the drop from the wheels to the concave deck, this board has a low center of gravity. There are many advantages of the drop down design but primarily it makes slides and learning to slide easier and makes boards easier to push long distances.
The setup the Punked Lowrider longboard comes with helps with both of these main duties. With 9.8” inch heavy-duty aluminum trucks, Q-ball wheels, and 8 mm risers to dampen vibrations and raise the ends of the board even more, this board is setup to make sliding and carving as easy as possible.
With the Q-ball wheels, the Punked Lowrider rolls smoothly down all types of roads and with the lowered deck, riders were easily able to keep pushing for hours.
While this board wasn’t able to achieve very high speeds going down hills, riders reported that the low center of gravity made it easy to control.
Sliding is where riders were pleased with this board. Universally, riders reported that they only had to apply the slightest pressure on the ends of the board to kick it out and initiate slides.
For the price, the Punked Lowrider Drop Down Longboard is a great introduction to longboarding. If you want a board that is easy to control, can ease your introduction to sliding, and won’t break the bank, this is the board for you. Check below for the most up-to-date prices!
